EmailGrab is a Chrome extension that, when you click its toolbar icon, reads the web page you are currently viewing and extracts the email addresses (and, on the Pro tier, phone numbers and social profile links) found on it. All of this processing happens locally on your device.
None. EmailGrab has no backend service and performs no tracking. We do not collect your browsing history, the contents of pages you visit, the contacts you extract, your IP address, or any analytics or usage telemetry.
The extension uses Chrome's local storage only to keep:
This data never leaves your computer. You can clear it at any time from within the extension or by removing the extension.
EmailGrab requests only activeTab, scripting and
storage. It reads a page solely in the moment you click the icon on that
tab; it has no standing or background access to your browsing.
Pro upgrades are handled by ExtensionPay, which processes payments via Stripe. Any payment information you enter is handled by those services under their own privacy policies; EmailGrab never sees or stores your card details.
Other than the payment providers above, EmailGrab shares no data with anyone, because it collects none.
